To gather is a sacred act.

Gathered Heart is a community rooted in friendship and practice. We come together every Wednesday evening to study the teachings of the Pali Canon, to meditate, sing, pour tea, listen deeply and to build a village of belonging.

The words of the Buddha guide us in investigation. We meet one another as we are, breathing in, breathing out and practicing kindness and care in small, ordinary ways.

We are an intentional community, which means we are practicing something more than ideas. We are practicing how to be human together. How to build trust and how to hold difference with respect and to watch as the heart grows wider than habit. Community becomes a field where seeds of patience, generosity, and wisdom can take root. The Dhamma shines in the warmth of shared laughter, in the courage to speak honestly, in the strength of sitting side by side week after week.

Where we find each other.

We usually gather in the home of Asher and Amanda, alongside their two beloved dogs who remind us how to greet each moment with enthusiasm and trust. For the summer, we’re meeting in the big tent by the creek. Please go to our Arrive page to ask about directions and how to join us.

If something in you longs for steadiness, for inquiry, for song, for companionship on the path, you are warmly invited. Bring your questions. Bring your tenderness. Bring your whole imperfect heart. We are gathering it all.

“I went all over looking for places to meditate. I didn’t realize it was already there, in my heart.”
